Here is a quick update by item
I am taking August 28th through September 1st off. With luck, I will have everything complete on my end before then and just be waiting for pages to be printed and books to be bound...but we will see.
So how about that September delivery timeline? Well, as I mentioned in the last update, I am expecting it will be October at this point. I am going to go ahead and lock addresses on Backerkit shortly, though!
Next update should contain more information about shipping!!! So, for now, give a listen to the soundtrack, "Bind the Lord of Demons, Bind Him" by Cthulugans as they recorded and retell the tragedies of the 6 Hierarchs of Hell who lent their service to the Demon Lord.

I am very excited about all of the artwork being done for this project. We have an incredible team involved and here is the most recent finished piece that came in. A phenomenal piece of work by Robin Harris, aka Mystic Barbarism. I encourage you to zoom in for the full terror. As artwork rolls in, I am just so stoked...THIS IS GOING TO BE A DAMN GOOD ZINE!
First, there was an error on Backerkit, which made some handbound books appear to be sold out when they were not. If you wanted a handbound book, then you now have the chance to get one! There are a few more added.

I have also coordinated with All Systems Go in Minneapolis to handle local pickups. There should be an option to select that as your shipping method in Backerkit now. This gives local folks a chance to skip the shipping fees!
Kyle and I met up in Sedona, Arizona to visit the energy vortices and record the Cthulugans Demon Lord OST, titled Bind the Lord of Demons, Bind Him. It was a gorgeous adventure. On the first night, I was wakened at 2:00 am by a herd of unfamiliar animals snorting at the bedroom door and their horde of hooves tapping on the stones just outside. I went to shut the door and startled them before I actually got to see them so I was left assuming it was goblins. Later we saw them the pack of javelinas all running through the creek bed and put it all together. I had never met this animal before so it was an extremely pleasant experience. We did a ton of exploring, wandering, climbing, and touching great stone formations. We met some wonderful lizards and gargantuan plants. It was the perfect place to ready our spirits for another rising of the Cthulugans.
We completed the 6 track full-length album and had time to get some playtesting in for other projects, including my work for the Black God's Kiss box set and a new fairy project Kyle and I are working on that is still mostly a secret. We also managed to fit in a game of Melee (which I LOVE).
On our return journey, we were derailed and found ourselves exploring what had seemed to be a particularly remote desert while imbibing the last of our libations when an older man approached by foot. I was sure he was there to explain things we are allowed and not allowed to do, but instead, he was looking for help as he had driven his vehicle into a Hellmouth and had no means to remove it. We gave him a ride back to the realm of humans and wished him luck, but even now I wonder what the final outcome was.
Returning home was bittersweet. Saying goodbye to my fellow Cthulugan until the next millennia was important and ensures we don't fall too deeply into madness. We are currently working on arranging and mastering and then the tapes will be ready to order!
I have mostly finished the design & layout for the inserts. Here is a preview!
Once we get everything set up and tapes ordered, we will also post it on Bandcamp and get you all your download files.
Artwork is taking a little longer than I anticipated, but it is absolutely worth it, and I would much rather deliver a little late than rush our artists. The project is a little behind and while I hope to still meet our September shipping deadline, I want you to know that it could be pushed out a little. So for now, I think we may still be able to make it on time, but I am also acknowledging the reality that it may be late. I will keep you posted along the way and you can continue to expect monthly updates.
